Hi all, next installment, although no more robberies, thank god! it`s all been plain silaing from then and I am still enjoying every minute! We just came here from Rio via Iguazù falls, they are hiugher than Victoria falls and wider than the Niagra falls and oh my god, it was incredible We saw them frfom as many different angles as you could imagine, we went under them in a boat and got totally drowned and soaked, around the bottom, higher up adn finally from the top, there was so much water just gushig over you couldnt see the bottom and the glare from the suun made it next to impossible to really see into it, it was like an indiana jones scene or something, complete with rainbows! it borders brazil argentina and paraguay and is the culmination of three rivers meeting. absolutely Incredible! Then we got the bus overnight to Argentina and it took 18 hours. I ended up speanding the last few hours plaiting a little argentinian girls hair becuase she wanted to look like Erin (Only it took me 3 hours to plait erin`s and I had to rush the little girls a bit). My friend Chief that I used tonwork with in Vegas met us adn it was so good to see him again. since we have been here I have found the argentinian people to be so beautiful. They are friendly, amicable adn less confronting than the brazilians who individually were lolvely too but there were a few who were although well meaning, a little too pushy. They were nice though but people here...well, everyone is in this terible situation, their money has halve, they have had three presidents in tthree months, they don`t know were they are from one day to the next, their current president is a known drug peddlar, uunempolyment is stupidly high, the country is really in dire straights but its like they have this spirit that they wont be held down. There are not really any riots adn it isnpt dangerous adn it doe make it incredibly cheap for us as travellers but it also makes me feel a little guilty that i am benefiting from their misfortune, although at the same time tourism is a good form of income for them right now. Everyone I have spoken to has said how they still feel positive and that the people are good, they are lost but good hearted adn they are not the ones that the problem lies within, it is the curruption within the system not the regular people. Yestreday, after we arrived we were (over) fed by my friend chief`s parents who believe the only reason for life is to eat...and eat and eat and eat. They are such lovely lovely people though and really care. Chief said when they knew I was coming back to visit they both started crying adn his dad calls me his daughter! Chief adn his girlfiend Valeria took us to this street where there was a market adn loads of old people dancing tango. We got involved and erin ended up dancing with the guy, she looked really good adn so on tuesday we are goign to a place where we can dance tango and drink cheap beer all night!
