My 1½ day visit to
the Polish city Bialystok
was accompanied by 4 Slovakian photographers
& 5 Polish photographers. They
took me 2 this
hill of a thousand crosses, which is like a national
place of worship 4 the locals, there.
"You
could actually hear the
people's cries as they placed their
cross on top of another cross."

Small crosses,
large crosses, human size crosses & even a cross that was over 50ft
tall! There
were
crosses everywhere!
Crosses purchased from the store, crosses carved out of wood &
crosses made from
2 sticks & a hair bow.
Phuuu! Good luck trying 2 count them all...
